Overview:

The BlackRapid Lockstar Breathe Carabiner Protector is compatible with BlackRapid straps that feature a CR-3 or CR-4 ConnectR locking carabiner.

By folding over a CR-3 or CR-4 ConnectR, the Lockstar Breathe prevents unintentional user contact with a CR-3 or CR-4 ConnectR that could cause it to accidentally unlock. 

The Lockstar clips onto the strap's ConnectR hook and serves two purposes.

It both prevents the ConnectR lock from coming unlocked during use, and prevents the metal hardware from coming into direct contact within the camera body.
